The man
The father
The philanthropist
The hero
The legend
The accident
The shock

Mankind suffers
The loss of its role models
Like the sun above
The world desperately needs
To shed light every day
On goodwill and compassion
To celebrate humanitarian efforts
Large and small
And not wait for tragedies
To mention in passing
Good deeds
Lost in the hype

such a beautiful tribute...he grew up in my county, not far from where i live... his school has a gym named after him... this area definitely felt the pain of his tragic loss...hugs

it's very tragic..appreciate your thoughts here..it seems he might have finished up spiritually faster then some of the rest of us..i especially like the words, "good deeds lost in the hype"..thank you..
