KNOWING
To know the edge of beauty
Fondle a rose petal
Softly
Close your eyes
Feel the sun’s warmth
Radiating
From within.
To know the song
Of nature
Stand
Alone
Amid its beauty
Hold
Without catching
The wind.
To know the depth
Of the pond
Open your eyes
To its shimmering
Silk surface.
To know the essence
Of the forest
Exhale
And know
Your place within it
Inhale
And know its place
Within you
