Know Me Before
I want you to know me before you know me I want you to come to me correct. Study me
like a course, I want love at it's fullest. Read me like so many of my poems, feel my
vibe. Feel my heart. I just need one sentence in your head before you try my heart. I'm
not naive so no stupid lines, I already have a big enough lock on my heart to let myself
fall without good reason. Shyness is basically a shield I own, it doesn't come down until
you make me feel comfortable. I want you to get the real, not some fantasy in your head
that you have of me. Please search me, search my soul... put me together like a puzzle. I
admire dedication, I admire persistence. I want you to know me before you know me, I hope
that's not asking too much. Maybe it is, Maybe I am too complicated. But it's good to
know before hand how to handle me. So here is my basic instructions. I tend to push guys
away, though my heart craves romance. If you like me please don't walk away, at least not
before you've tried numerous times. My eyes will open,it may be tough to crack the nut
but eventually you'll grow on me. I will learn to love, with just one touch... But you
have to guide me to the door or you'll never get the key. That's why I want you to know
me before you know me.
