Knight of Your Heart
I miss you like the flowers miss the sun
in the depth of winter.
I've seen the new moon,
I've seen sunrises and sunsets
but nothing compares to your beauty.
Who am I, you ask?
I am a knight who fights for a place in your heart
A knight who can go the distance,
a knight so brave that he would fight a lifetime
to keep your heart safe.
A knight who would give his ears just to hear your voice.
I fight this battle to keep your dreams and your heart safe.
I will not lose because your heart is at stake.
I have to ride now because destiny and
the battle of your heart calls.
I have your love
protecting me so
I know I cannot lose.
