Knee Replacement Burglary

To endure such excruciating pain
  with no guarantee of gain
Reflecting upon the experience
  I must have been insane

More than five years later now
  I sometimes wonder 
how much happier I might be
  if I still had my God-given knee

If I had permitted it to, that surgery would have ruined my life. I've moved on now, and simply count my blessings... Sounds like medicine in India is a lot more advanced than here in the USA. The tales of knee and hip replacement woes and disasters here are legion. No kidding. :) gw

And I know -- and everyone who knows me knows -- how much worse I became after the surgery. And this is not uncommon. Surgery should be absolutely the last resort. Never again for me. That's for sure. :)
