Kiss of a Lifetime

Walking into the room,
As the lights begin to dim,
The music glides into me,
As if by magically,
Lighting me on fire.
Then I feel like I'm thrust,
Into the past within a whisper.
I see you in a glimmer of hope,
Knowing you will always,
Have my heart in this time or the next.
Meeting you all over again,
Seeing your face tells me,
You see it too.
Standing in the crowd all I see is you,
You turn towards me smiling.
I wait for that moment in time
Where your heart can no longer,
Stand another minute being,
Apart from me.
All I know is I live my life thru,
The good things that make you happy.
We embrace sharing a slow, soft,
Sensual kiss that we have,
Waited lifetimes for.
