Kiss Goodbye
Kiss Goodbye
Verse:
I remember grandpa, he used to bounce me on his knee
He would always be there, is what he said to me
That kiss I gave him, as he walked out the door
Was the last time I saw grandpa, he’s not with me anymore
Chorus:
I don’t want to kiss goodbye
I just want you to stay
I don’t want to kiss goodbye
Please don’t go away
Stay with me forever
Until the end of time
I never want to lose your love
I don’t want to kiss goodbye
Verse:
I remember daddy, he used to tuck me into bed
I never had to worry, is what he always said
That kiss I gave him, as he walked out the door
Was the last time I saw daddy, he’s not with me anymore
Repeat Chorus:
Bridge:
Words could never tell
How I felt inside
Through all the goodbyes in my life
You’re every breath I take
My reason to live
Every kiss says I love you
For the rest of my life
Repeat chorus:
