Killing Wave

everybody put their hearts together and prayed a black cloud to linger over
everyones homes, crawling under everyones skin.
this is the heart of man? like a warring ocean?

you gonna turn waves on your vulnerable for some raging storm
let the waters get restless and walk us off the plank wide eyed but not crying because you have your justifications such as we arent pure?

this feels like human sacrifice

your going to ruin someones life because hate makes you feel alive?
how much figurative blood have you washed away?
how many of us are you going to kill today?

i believe he felt worthless, like many, because more than a few went out of their way to be ruthless and its okay because the scum of the earth deserves it and there is no other way...to feel accomplished

im just waiting for the storm to subside, let the water settle, look around and see the horrified reflections of realized evil.
