When you were bitter Callous and unkind Jumped to conclusions Content to misjudge Made a game of being cold Wouldn’t give the time of day Or offer up a cup of tea Swept me off like crude debris I wish I could say I rose above And walked away without a care That it didn’t hurt me to be snubbed By you~ my most unlikely bully You took me by surprise I never saw it coming AP: Honorable Mention 2022 Posted on March 11, 2020

I've been there, Line. The Judas is the worst kind of bully because they have your trust and you feel you can let your guard down. So sorry this happened to you ~ John

Line, an excellent retort to bullying, a definite plague of our day and age. With the anonymity of the internet, it's become even easier for cowards to bully with words. "Swept me off like crude debris". My condolences on this sadness, my kudos for another brilliant poem, my friend. ~ John
