Keepsakes, Loved and Lost

I found a treasure chest I thought I'd tossed, filled with memories of my childhood days and precious keepsakes I had loved and lost, tea party guests, who were with me, always. Filled with memories of my childhood days, there were two brown bears that I'd befriended, tea party guests, who were with me, always. How often their seams had to be mended. There were two brown bears that I'd befriended. We sipped from a make-believe china cup. How often their seams had to be mended. Just a little girl, acting so grown up. We sipped from a make-believe china cup. I remember those mornings at sunrise Just a little girl, acting so grown up, Serving tea on the floor with sleepy eyes. I remember those mornings at sunrise and precious keepsakes I had loved and lost, Serving tea on the floor with sleepy eyes. I found a treasure chest I thought I'd tossed. Those are such beautiful memories Jenna. I still have a teddy bear preserved in a corner. It brings back childhood innocence. Your muse is a tender touch to them. Congratulations on your win. Much love :)

Jenna, my boys weren't ones to keep the things they grew up with, except for one of them. My youngest kept his rabbit his big brother had given him when he was born that had belonged to him. He has turned around and given it to his own son that is 20 months. My boys though were excited when I'd bring out that box of mementos that they use to own and have asked for them to give to their own children. Congratulations on your win. Hugs Eve

I suppose it's more of a female fancy to hold on to childhood treasures, but I'm glad to read your sons were happy that you kept some of their mementos for their children. Thank you for considering my poem worthy in your contest, Eve.

Memories are precious jewels hidden in the safe of our mind ready to be retrieved for to relieve the past. A tender innocent poem reflecting the purity of a child's early years. Welcome to our poetic family dearest, Jenna. May your stay with us to be long and rewarding. Blessings.

Adorable(!) 'tea party guests...precious keepsakes.' -- as you penned the lines, Jenna. Flows so smoothly. Wonderful pantoum. It's a winner, in my estimation. Kudos, Gershon
