Keeping God - Search Simple

I cannot keep God for He keeps me.
The universe without, the universe within
are untraversable without His manifesting light.
Humanity’s spiritual night evinces darkness palpable,
terminating all true sight until He illuminates the way.

Infinities of mysteries temporal and divine,
celestial and terrestrial, knowledge of all things created,
secrets of the intricate interweaving of body and psyche
are locked within God’s impregnable vault
until He, the Keeper, admits entrance to those who knock.

We really liked how you captured the idea of God as both guide and gatekeeper, makes the mystery feel so alive and personal. Faye, the “impregnable vault” image really stuck with us, cool stuff!
