Keep Looking Ahead Always, Not Back -Genesis 19: 23-26

There are many Bible lessons to be learned some maybe minor but others are not so really important to follow what God says regarding divine words learn not to say no Lot's wife's experience is well known a real warning that God you must not ignore our Sodom needs are left so far away not letting it pull us in to be nailed to its floor God is always true to His word what He says He'll do that He will as Lot's wife found out to her cost be sure to wait on the Lord being still Remember well the consequences of sin as Sodom and Gomorrah suffered God's wrath God poured forth His judgement upon them this our lot when walking not His path So fix it in your mind real deep down keep looking ahead always, not back you don't want to change into a salt block better to look to Jesus in Him you won't lack ('Never look back' Genesis 19: 23-26) (' The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar. Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the Lord out of heaven. And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground. But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.')

I enjoy Genesis (Sodom and Gomarrah) - its such a lesson in life - I remember I was in my early teens when we discussed this is in our religious lessons class - I attended the Dominican Convent - imagine being turned into a pillar of salt - but Lots' wife was warned, but she had to look back! Great write Gordon. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.
