Keep It Christmas-Ey
On Christmas Eve,
forget not to have your spirit a-glow
with joy
Colorful as a bright rainbow
Keep the caroling mood
praise sleigh ride firmament high
Evergreen merrily cool
Making a snow angel groove
is the gaiety move
which warms the thoughts
As the sleepless night descends
on the happy hearts
of the children
All of you big kids,
please do remember to —
Keep it so soul Christmas-ey!
Light up the world with Love
Isn’t that what the Nativity scene
was goodwill given of?
Keep it forever Christmas-ey!
Let the Christmas Eve glow
usher in the Light of the world
The babe who laid bare
His precious Emmanuel soul,
gift wrapped in
virgin wool swaddling clothes
