Kaleidoscope Life
I am on this road
I go from place to place
I met people without a word
That usual fashion everyday.
I go to work for a living
A family man I should be
The greatest work is giving
The kindness act from me.
The friends I know along the way
Too soon the time we shared
Are part of life story of yesterday
Life goes on to future God has prepared.
I see clouds over me
That moves across the skies
That are changing freely
Before my very eyes.
I love the sunset
But miss also the sunrise
I carve my name on sand though short sweet
As I wrote poetry as my prize.
I have grown up
Too soon my time will have its course
And wheels of life will soon stop
In weeing hours my energy will have no source.
In this rocking chair my rest is deep
Of hardest work at sea too tired
I hope I met my God in my sleep
Or met my love before I expired.
