Just Saying
To say that I don't give a darn about your opinion
or what you say is a big fat lie.
I am human. I want you to think well of me.
With that being said, I will not let what you say
good or bad, rub me the wrong way.
I spent a lot of years letting folk dictate my life.
I was a doormat, and folk walked all over me
continuously.
Until I realized that the only opinion that really
mattered was the one that I felt about myself.
Think about it; we are with ourselves the most, even
when are in a room full of people.
So like me or hate me, I shall be ok.
