Just One Night

I'd be lying
If I didn't say....I want you
And I believe that fate is why
We took the fall

There's but one love
In this life... that we will carry
And one that will stand
Above them all

Just one night
Would never be enough
To experience the passion
Between us

We both know what we want
And long for the touch
Two soulmates who finally
Get to make love
And just one night will never...be enough

He met her
In a field along a dirt road
Just the two of them with no one
Else around

On a blanket
His trembling hands... got to touch her
And the only sign of the time
Was the sun going down

Just one night
Would never be enough
To experience the passion
Between us

We both know what we want
And long for the touch
Two soulmates who finally
Get to make love
And just one night will never...be enough

Two soulmates alone
Known only as friends
Felt the lure of temptation
And finally gave in

And just one night will never...be enough
