Just One More Day

Just one more day, by your side
Is all I cry, deep down inside

For a fathers’ love is never gone
Its only be gone

For if I had that day with you
I would cry my love to you

We would walk along the sand
I would grab your hand

Look up to you and dream
Cancer never took you from me

Our conversation will be family history
Running around and acting goofy

Just one more day with your scent
So I may put it in my tent

Just one more day, only one day
I would say, all I need to say

For a fathers’ love is never gone
Its only be gone

So if I had one more day, by your side
I would cry, what’s deep down inside

I would tell you, give me your pain
No need to explain or complain

A daughters’ love is never gone
Its only be gone

So if I had one more day
This is all I would say

Daddy, please don’t go away
I need you to stay

For this I pray
Everyday

always cherish the sweet memories you have....because there are those of us who can never grab....daddy's Love, it was never there....it is better to lose him than to know he never cared....this is Beautiful Delilah....;)
