Journey Journal Page JUST FOR YOU For David Joseph John (Johari) Now and here We gather round To share good cheer On happy grounds For a while Joy moves goodwill To style fond smiles With fine mood feel ~~~~~~~~~ On this date Meet face to face As if by fate Glimpses of grace Cheer attends Your birthday bash Kin and good friends In lovely dash ~~~~~~~~~ Live full zest Blessings of peace Your journey quest Your mortal lease May good health Mingle good cheer With timeless wealth In your soul sphere ~~~~~~~~~ Love shows signs On your pathway As kindness binds Goodness that stays Time moves fast Late autumn comes From first to last Our precious sums ~~~~~~~~~ So: Be Still To know the way To more goodwill You share each day Stop to pray With gratitude New light each day Blooms attitude ~~~~~~~~~ Love pays dues With glimpses grand Right here on cue With kin and friends Here in place We gather round Style smiles that trace Feelings that ground ~~~~~~~~~ Where you dwell Let cheer abide To cast love’s spell Right by your side Feel your way To pray for grace To bless each day In time and space ~~~~~~~~~ Live full zest Each bright new day Let joy bloom fest Upon your way Love does show Upon your face A certain glow In time and space ~~~~~~~~~ Leon Enriquez 22 October 2023 Singapore
