There's an old woman living in a shack Seems she had a stink coming from a crack Then COVID came and destroyed Peoples' sense of smell and left a void Now all her friends and family are back
About no one/picture depicts no one I know or hope no one recognizes if so, I will remove it.

Funny one, Sara. Though not funny for those who lose taste and smell. Almost always it comes back, thank heavens for them

Andrea, It has been 1 year and 3 months and my husband's taste and smell still have not come back completely. I doubt they ever will. Thanks for dropping by. Sara

Clever, funny, a delightful read. I hope that all who lost something vital in a covid infection soon recover that gift. Be well. Brian

Brian, I don't think that the losses will come back. I have done some reading about it and what they now know. It bores into places and reproduces itself. Basically, it destroys those areas. The problem with the sense of smell is in the nose and also the brain. I guess maybe with a very young person or child the body could repair itself. I appreciate the visit. Sara

Quite funny Sara.... ! Thus Covid had something positive about it at least for the neighbors of this old woman. I wonder if she is staying somewhere close to you?

Valsa, No one I know or even heard about. No one has noticed that I said a crack which could be a crack in the siding on the house, a floorboard, or even in the overhead woodwork. Maybe she had a mouse coming in or a squirrel and she put out poison and now has a dead animal. LOL..Thanks for the visit and for taking time to comment on my work. My husband and I still have some loss of sense of smell and it is no fun because it messes with being able to eat and really enjoy food. Sara

Tom, That would cause me a lot of embarrassment and a strong need to apologize. Thanks for the kind review of my work. Sara

I guess so, Paul. It is no fun not being able to smell because our ability to enjoy food is mixed up with that. Thanks for the visit. Sara
