Just Because
Just because you saw a pond
Didn’t mean you had to swim
Just because you found a gown
Was not time to tie the knot
A knockout yes, yes I know
But it is for another time
And another place for all
This is the end of this day
Come with me to another place
Another happier time
When peace walked in the streets
And joy talked to all our kind
Your future holds you know not now
But one thing I can see
That peace will come to you someday
And tears will wash away
