August signals start of the county fairs Excited farm kids are showing their stuff, Plenty of prize-winning bulls and mares Good times won’t last quite long enough, For future farmers showing their wares. oh i adore those county fairs. sure miss them from my Iowa days. I liked that nostalgia and the nice way you rhymed it. Congrats in my contest.

I went to the Kentucky State Fair yesterday. First time I'd been to a fair in years. A friend of mine did a cooking demonstration. It was all a fun experience.
