Just A short poem You might Find some meaning inside You’re probably reading this As I sleep Our dreams Seem a life time away I pray This poem holds the key To place Some unsettling thought To rest Or at least Set you on the correct path To place it Where it belongs In the past There’s no one here tonight Just me As I write this poem For you By the scurrying shadow Of my pen When you swim alone In some dark depth Of your life You’re not alone There’s a poet out there In the wilds Of the land of Dreaming That has Reception And connections To quirky parts Of our universe Sleep well tonight I’ll hold your hand lead you To shallow sea’s So, you can Sail away To calmer waters In that vessel Of life You create
