Just a Glimpse
Summer rain arrived suddenly
Pounding drums of clouds
Soaking gasping land
Quenching thirsty trees
Energizing sizzling roads
Blending with cheerful birdies’ hums
He brought a smile to her lips while she watched him drizzle
Showing just a little glimpse, he vanished, as if his job was over.
