In a word, be kind
In a thought, be kind
In a heart, be kind
In a soul, be light – shine
For the One who is alive
Eternally – He is mine, eternally
He is the light of the world
He is the light of my soul
He is the light that made me whole!
Without Him, I would be doubt, dark and dim
Like the feelings that overwhelm
Everyone who doesn’t put their faith in Him
The reason I am forgiven of my sin
The reason that I know Him, the gentle friend
Who gave up His life so that I could know Him
And live forevermore – in heaven, where He is the light
That reflects true hope, true love, kindness that reminds
He paid the greatest price…. He became the sacrifice
For those of us who believe He is the way to paradise
