Tie black satin ribbons around the sun Dipped the moon in velveteen space Smudged the edge of virgin clouds sometimes drew a face Pulling combs through water creating rivers and seas catching sunbeams in the fractured waves My sighs become the breeze as it mingles with trees Sunlight like treacle sifts between finger and thumb Living time in seconds never felt the days Sit with silence until sound changes its ways
