Jurassic Tempest

Torrential rain poured on that Jurassic day The seas swallowed lands or just washed them away Dinosaurs fled from the rivers that topped And everything steamed once the downpour had stopped Volcanos were belching black smoke from their vents A soot laden sky topped an atmosphere dense On high, lava flowed like the mountains were bleeding Below them, no sign of the waters receding Oil, coal and gas were still young in the making Nobody knew it was there for the taking And so to the high ground those giants were swarming But few carried signs saying, “Stop global warming!”

There is always someone who wants to place the blame Terry, when in reality, Nature/God/Earth does what it does without counting votes (or dollars). Fun write! :)

I keep harping back to the Stegosaur. The last Stegosaur died millions of years before the asteroid that killed ‘the dinosaurs’. And what did he die of????? Climate change! TRUE. I could get really boring on this subject so I’m pleased that you ended with ‘Fun write’. Ha ha! Terry

Some might think I’m a climate change denier. I only question whether we’re in a naturally recurring cycle or whether man is truly the culprit. It strikes me as odd that every cure for climate change involves more tax for world governments. Glad you enjoyed . Terry

I see the hidden message, Terry. Truth in humor. It works very well. Good to see you writing again. I missed you.

In a world where we were told to drive diesel cars and hand over eight grand or so in tax on our new vehicle and now we’re told to drive electric and hand over eight grand or so on again, I have to wonder when we’ll have cheaply adapted cars, tax free that run on grass clippings. Hmmm… ain’t gonna happen! The upshot is… if there’s no revenue for the tax man… it’s really no problem at all. Glad you enjoyed, Daniel.
