Judgement

I was forged in the fire. And only sometimes do I combust into flames. When it is time that penalties must be paid. I watched my prey in silence, As they do their demon deeds. Because I know everything has an expiring date. For now, they sit in the clouds. But unfortunately for them, They will not be balanced by a scale. They are on a see-saw, With me at the opposite end, They will drop down, flat on their face. I will be everywhere, Until they take their last breath. I will always be in their subconscious mind. Only their soul, I will leave it untouched. That is not for me to judge. I will be the lice in their hair, The flea that itches their skin. The germs that make their stomach burn. They will wish they had never betrayed a friend. Because of their nightmares and dreams, Will be haunted by me. And as they slowly fade away, And no one remembers their names. I will turn into ashes, And rise again. Because I am a Phoenix. I let justice prevail.
