Joy of the Lord
Oh to experience the joy of the Lord, it is an indescribable feeling
That precious touch of His presence that lingers in good times and bad
He gives me beauty for ashes and strength where my human efforts fail
I confidently testify that the blood of Christ prevails.
He lavishes me with good gifts, and with talents to bring him glory
Joy in Him allows me to truly love my neighbours as I love myself
His joy brings peace and deliverance and His love is new every morning
I live to proclaim His name and represent Him in every way.
Oh to experience the joy of the Lord; It is a personal encounter
For God delights in the way I praise and adore Him
His glory envelopes me and fills my heart with gladness
I bask in His grace, love and His mercy towards me
What an awesome blessing to be a child of a King; I am royalty.
When I am weak and feeble, He makes me strong
True strength comes only from Jesus Christ who gives joy and makes everything alright.
