Journey To Reality

The world we let die not just of ourselves
Personal devotion to existence being
Trees fall, extinction of life once was
Like a plague, our making our own destruction
Life of new generation we form
A world of expectations to dream big
New breed, old dying out their ways

What is it we live but do not enjoy the inspiration?
The breath of life we take for granted
Here today, gone tomorrow old saying goes
A society consumed by world greed
We fail to comprehend our mortality
Has it spoken, whispers of the soul's depth
Darkness persistent to kill each of us
Even to live is dangerous conception to truth

Journey to reality, death be certain; life isn't
A crossroads of time's distance travel
Living for tomorrow, future to the grave
Everyday struggle, never ending reality check
In heart we find the pleasures enticing
Ourselves we hide behind a smile emotion
Have you lived today or tomorrow's coming?

Hello Steve, an excellent reflection on the fragility of life and the consequences of human actions. Your words evoke a sense of urgency and introspection, urging readers to contemplate the true essence of existence. I loved the contrast between the fleeting nature of life and the persistent pursuit of material desires. Yes, we should pause and reflect on the choices we make and the legacy we leave behind. - Blessings, Daniel

I try comment on your poem Inner Turmoil. But it just wouldn't let me, I'm lifetime member idk..but Nicely written, I really like fact you always asking questions in comparison to life. We live feeling some kind envy but it is what drives us. But at same time it's as we live today with rich rien over the poor. Two different class but poor has learned to live daily struggle and to accept it's part of life though looked down on. We hold more pride in our own achievements while we hold our dignity! Even while in icy depths we manage to swim because there's hope. A person who believes in themselves before anyone cause no one else matters but what we think about ourselves.

Again, thank you Daniel. I'm glad you enjoyed the read as well as the words touching the soul with reality. People get so wrapped up in material life that they forget our purpose and lose track of themselves. I know today is rough world but sometimes you got look past situation and people in order to still see good. Mean I'm ok with people but in all aspects I do tend not to have a care for them and their ways of society today. We can only do our best to be who we are but even then there's hidden images behind the picture. God's love n~blessings to you brother
