Journey

I look to the sky for solace
I look to the sky in search of your soul
Praying to see you soar overhead
But seeing a nothingness of grey clouds instead
Then on a clear and starlit night
The Moon she’s at her fullest
Jupiter and Saturn aligned close by
The ISS I do espy ~ a friend ~ I wave goodbye
So full of emotion and joy am I
As I yearn to fly just like a bird
With wings of gold they will unfold
Guiding me upwards
I am free
I can fly
Forever and ever
Like a star in the sky
As our souls become one we soar into Space
Look closer my darling
See the smile on my face
No constraints
Hold us back
Forever we are free
Flying together to eternity
We stop
We gaze in wonder
For we’ve never seen before
Our Universe ~ at close proximity
Then passing by dear Mother Moon
Her exquisite beauty 
Her femininity
For many hours I’ve gazed in awe
Naming her ‘Your Majesty’
She truly is a beauty Queen
And now we stop to bow
Then with a smile she sprinkles love
A thousand moonbeams from above
We glisten ~ we gleam ~ we sparkle now
We bid our Queen a fond farewell
Our souls will soar forevermore
With grace and smooth fluidity
Our golden wings for all to see
Fly us into Infinity…
