Joe In Trouble With a Bee

Poor Joe, He was always one to steal the show. When Sam got a flea in his ear, Joe seeing a bee in his beer, Took it out and put it in his ear. You should have let me be, Said the bee, At least til I finished me beer, Now I will sting you for more than a year, If you don't give me another beer. (this poem came as a result of my nephew asking for a poem about a bee)

You got it. I do a few poems on subjects requested. Love playing with words but in life I grew up win era when you were not encouraged to tempt fate and reasonable precautions were the norm. All the best for 2022 and hope your poetic licence is still current. Will investigate, David in NZ
