Jesus, Messiah, Emanuel

JESUS, MESSIAH, EMANUEL

He came to earth as a tiny babe
Where in a manger He was lovingly laid
Surrounded by animals in stalls nearby
Who kept their silence so He would not cry

Visited by Wise Men who came to meet
And lay precious treasures at His tiny feet
And lowly shepherds also came
Then spread good news bearing His Name

This baby grew to be a man
Performing miracles throughout the land
He was falsely accused and crucified
On a cruel cross, He suffered and died

In a buried grave, His body lay
But He rose again on the third day
He ascended to His Father 'til He comes again
And His Kingdom then shall never end

So I beseech you, brethren, one and all
To listen and heed Him when He calls
Accept Him as Savior, do not fail
To receive Jesus, Messiah, Emanuel
