Jesus In the Pizza
Jesus In The Pizza
Clearly we see Jesus in the old pizza crust
His image carved neatly in wall cracks
Concrete thoughts for concrete steps
Sidewalk images reflect his purity
I could swear I saw Him squinting at me
From a grapefruit I squeezed this morning
My eyes were so sore I cried
Was it by accident that juice hurts
Cracks in the mind still need filling
Concrete mix for concrete thoughts
These are not UFO sightings
Everyone knows God
Sometimes Mary is there in the potato chips
In clouds and even nature
Back to the pizza back to the womb
I'm still hungry to tell the truth
There is always room for food
Food for thought and pizza images
*Authors note: No disrespect for God. I'm sure He has a sense of humor. If not, I am in a world of trouble. There will be no waiting in line, hiding behind cracks in the wall or inside a pizza at the end of time.
