Jesus Asks Who Am I- Mark 8:27-38

Jesus poses the ultimate question who do people say that I really am? many answers given but Peter knew Christ, you are as John said God's lamb Jesus then begins to teach His disciples that much suffering would come His way He would be killed but three days later would rise from the dead this He did say Jesus saw that Peter didn't like this and addresses him as Satan for a rebuke for Peter had thought only as a man not on heavenly things as Peter later forsook Jesus then challenged all who were there to deny themselves to follow His Calvary road take up HIs cross wherever it may lead save their lives and drop their sinful load Jesus said no profit to gain all the world if after that you have lost your soul your souls the most important possession losing it and you're on the hellward roll
