Jerks
Jerks are so abundant,
like thorns on a cactus,
thriving in any climate,
bleeding one dry,
destroying as they exist,
no dreams to reach for,
too lazy to want more,
too lazy to help others,
too selfish to love,
too mean to care,
lying in their self pity,
taking ones spirit,
trying to control,
destined to be alone.
