Jealous Sea
I would own
the fragile curve
of feminine shapes,
encompass her brunette strands
of thoughtfulness.
I would claim her posture,
her attention, her pose
and I
would posess her awe for my own.
I would be her weakness,
enbalm her,
wrap her in wet sand
hide her as my darkest secret,
for my own satisfaction.
I would be her liquid master,
she my fleshy puppet,
no strings
just her simple surrender.
If I could own her
my seamen wouldn't stray,
wouldn't leave their hearts ashore,
wouldn't spurn my bosom
to connect with hers.
