- Jacob Born With Down Syndrome -

                   
                      Striving to be happy all the time is unrealistic
                             Your child born with Down syndrome
                   The early years were driven by fear and ignorance
                                  Life became more complex -
                               constantly trying to find balance
                                   Jacob has difficulty learning -
                           born into a world where one does not fit
                             All children have enormous potential
                 Support your child in making decisions at any time in life


                                                 ~~~


                                       Jacob loved lullabies
                                      could see it in his eyes

                                  He listens and communicates
                                using movements, no rule relates

                                 Skilled at drawing and painting
                                  I rarely hear him complaining

                                   It's fun to play Super Mario
                                    but, Superman is his hero

                                   Jacob flies around all day
                                a completely normal child's play
