Dear Sandra, This is bursting with playful energy! Each line evokes a specific, nostalgic image - bingo nights, cozy moments, wild concerts, and carefree joy. It's a fantastic encapsulation of youth and its vibrant experiences. The cryptic "Dodo" adds an intriguing twist, making me wonder if it's a symbol or a hidden meaning. I love your unique style and playful spirit! - Bkessings, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Thanks for the visit and your uplifting comments on my poem! The "dodo" is an addition to the title requested by the contest sponsor so she would not read the poem before judging it. The contest rules are to use nonsensical words from a different era, so I chose some slang words used in the 1950s. The poem is about a dude going to a drive-in movie with his gal. I've explained it all in the "poet's note" area above the poem. Anyway, I appreciate your nice feedback! Thanks again!
