ivory flakes

                        the snowflakes are falling
like ivory lace created by God
charming, creamy, soothing and precious
gathering on my windows and twinkling
                        dancing snow crystals icy
tumbling, frosty, fluttering in a sweet ballet
the sound a silvery melodious beat so quiet
        (snow drifting in gleaming piles
             swirling, whirling, frosty flurries
                          oh, divine the snow blanket)
pristine the ivory flakes falling in my world
feathery on my hair, cheeks and lips
    oh, divine the frozen kiss
                          sublime are winters butterflies

Dear Constance, warrior poetess, you have written a very wintry poem for the prompt, in such a magical and picturesque manner! I love the way your poems flows so beautifully and how youv shown through your words ivory flakes! How stunning and well articulated too! I especially love the way you’ve written “ the sound a silvery melodious beat so quiet (snow drifting in gleaming piles swirling, whirling, frosty flurries oh, divine the snow blanket“ so divine and soul warming! I love it! A fave it is! Congratulations on your well deserved win! Thank you for supporting my contest

Always captivating the mind in such elegance when you write, love it, they even got snow on the beaches in the bottom of the United States yesterday, 7 inches and more in places
