I’ve got 700 pounds of love to shed. What’s that? You didn’t hear me? Listen closely to what I’ve said: I’ve got 700 pounds of love to shed. Watch the way I move, Listen to my words. Feel the even flow—it comes and goes, Teaching me what I need to know. What form will this love take? How will it shape me as it breaks? Show me the mold, the path to be, The love I’ve kept is setting me free. And one day, I’ll come to you and say: “I’ve got 700 pounds of love to shed.” Watch it fade, watch it flow— A lighter me, ready to grow. You better come catch this love if you can, Because it’s moving fast, And I’ve got a plan.
