It's Up To Us
It’s up to me and to you,
it's up to us to make the world a pleasant place:
a place where we can all be just and true
where we can give our hope and home a fine face.
its up to me and to you,
it's up to us to make this ball so full of space:
the space where love and joys will not be few
where we can give our rags and robes a lovely lace.
It’s up to me and to you,
It’s up to us to make this circle a broader dais:
a dais where we can all the rainbow view
where we can give our kids and kings a gentle grace.
it’s up to me and to you ,
it’s up to us to make the world a brand new brace.
