I don’t believe in magic I believe in hope I believe in grace I believe in love I believe in One Who created each of us. I don’t believe in magic I believe in prayer I believe in praise I believe in thanks I believe in Him Who offered me a second chance. I don’t believe in magic I believe in the One who came To bring our souls the answers, To give us a new destination, To save us with His amazing grace, To reach beyond our sin – And allow hope to enter in. I don’t believe in magic I believe in the living hope The One who taught my spirit There is assurance for my soul The One who taught my heart To forever believe in Him, The One who came to save me From the darkness of hell’s pain. I don’t believe in magic But I believe in Jesus Christ He is the One who saved me He is the ultimate sacrifice, The One who made my heart see Beyond the pain, sorrow and grief, To the joy that He had for me, Joy in knowing that, if I simply believe He will take me home to be with Him, Forever, eternally – at home in heaven, Where I’ll forever praise Him who amazes me. I don’t believe in magic But I believe in the beautiful faith That taught me the meaning of inspiration, The joy that comes from sanctification, The wonder of a love that truly saves, The joy in love that is forever alive, The song of the Son who has surely won – Not only my heart, but my soul… He saves those who believe – And one of those souls He freed is ME!

I, too, believe! How beautiful is this statement of your belief. Too often we look for "magic" instead of sending up prayer. Thank you for this beautiful poem. Sending you bountiful blessings and hugs for the new year!
