There's a moment in the morning, when the light is streaming in,
spreading gold upon the pillow, and your hair is like the sun.
I am filled with such emotion, that my heart is overcome.
If I woke you, could I tell you? Could my words be like a song?
If I woke you, tried to tell you,.. it would take a million years
So I'll hold you, just to show you,.. when my words have disappeared
There's a moment every morning, when I watch you start the day,
Making toast, or pouring coffee, you'll just take my breath away.
I am struck without a warning, without words that I can find
Do you know the pure devotion, that I carry deep inside?
When the silence could be broken, all my words will seem to hide
There are words I've never spoken. Do you know how much I've tried?
There's a moment in the evening, when the moon is on the rise.
You'll be looking from the window,. and the stars shine in your eyes.
There's so much that I should tell you. But, my words have disappeared
There aren't words enough to tell you..., It would take a million years...
It would take a million years
