It Was a Good Morning Until
It was a good morning until I got out of bed.
Walked into the bathroom and hit my head.
Slipped in the shower because I dropped the soap.
If you think it got better, the answer is nope.
I put on my uniform, grabbed my badge and my purse.
Could not find my stethoscope. I am a nurse.
My first patient was home but didn’t let me come in.
She had decided to choose another company again.
My car overheated which of course made me late.
The next patient I visited was completely irate.
This would not happen to me again the next morning.
I hit the snooze button twice, closed my eyes, and kept snoring.
