It Takes a Big Man

Buckets of rain are pouring on my head Soaking wet I'll be swimming in my bed One day my Granny said to me Stay away from the bad boy company Always respect your elders Be considerate to your neighbors Stand up with integrity Kneel and pray with humility It takes a big man to admit that he is wrong It takes a lot of love and patience to be strong Put away your pride and shame Work hard to make your name Whenever you've made a mistake Apologizes for heaven’s sake That's what my Granny said to me Find a good girl and have a family Children, will be your treasure God. your weight and measure Do what you believe is right Never ever provoke a fight It takes a big man to admit that he is wrong It takes a lot of love and patience to be strong Put away your pride and shame Work hard to make your name Whenever you've made a mistake Apologizes for heaven’s sake Buckets of rain are pouring on my head Soaking wet I'll be swimming in my bed

Diffrent geration l agree brought up the same what makes a nan someone who stands up for what they belive in can admit when there wrong looks after his lover or and loved ones now adays no one has comon curtisy or respect or anything for anyone like the flow davidscott

Very good stuff my friend! Good stuff indeed. I picked my daughter up from St. Alphonsas school. We stopped on the way out and said a little prayer. Immediately after I wrote a poem about life and the truth of my vision of it as well as my daughters perspective. Still working on it but this reminds me of it
