It Is What It Is

I have endured life's up's and down's,
I keep to myself and don't make a sound.

I fight with my thoughts every single day,
nothing I do helps make it go away.

It's been a long road and a hard one to follow,
now I am at a dead end and my heart is hollow.

You can call me a coward but your not me,
I don't want your pity so just let me be.

Thank you for the help you all tried to give,
I can't take anymore I no longer want to live.

I feel that suicide is the answer for me,
it's time to release my demons and set me free.

                                                                  March 27,2013

Dear Colleen, I think to myself how selfish YOU are with this MasterPiece. Would YOU really think about Suicide to set YOURSELF and the DEMONS inside FREE. YOU maybe Free but the Demons are also free to find another SOUL to torment. I believe I would be one of the first YOUR Demons would visit. I don't need anymore Demons. So please find another alternative and Share the Glory with YOUR Family "POETRYSOUP" YOU must find the Goodness in YOUR Heart and Share it I LOVE YOU ALWAYS and FOREVER

It is what it is and that's a fact. Some say that's too bad, but that's no way to act. But your words ring truer than most ever write. You bring to the darkness such powerful light. It's only when someone lets someone else in. That everyone else will see how it's been. May all these good wishes that we are all sending. Bring to your long journey a new happy ending. Peace. :)

Miss Bono, the greatness in us poets allows us to express. I know from your writings how life can be. But you are now with a different family. Writing is your future, just you wait and see. Because your writings will be read, by many and me. I so loved writing that poem using your poem titles. Once I observed them, what you read now is what I saw. Have a good weekend girl. I'll be back, James :)

I read of your sadness and I pray for you, not a matter of pity but for the sake of love and those who love you. No the world is not better without you which is evident in the comments below. So I will pray some more. I pray that you feel the brightness that seems just out of reach and the warmth that you deserve. I pray that the love around you turns the grey to the colors of the rainbow. Continued

I came here today because a tribute poem was written for you and I thought to myself this woman must be pretty special for someone to write such a moving poem. So all the more reason for me to pray for your healing and deliverance from this horrible affliction called depression.

Colleen, I am sorry to see you feeling this way. My husband suffers from depression and I know he used to feel this way a lot. You have to remember that many people love you and want you to live!

nicely written. but for us as poets we are to put these pains on a page so as to let others know that they're not alone. pain is universal. in the future you might have to save someone. will you be there to do it.

Ifinally realized that running from my call to preach was thecause of my troubles. I think I'm on the right track now. Things are getting better. What does God want from you?
