Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s grace…
that leaves footprints in the skies,
more than just the shimmer of stars,
more than the shafts of a buttery soft sunrise,
more than the music that comes from sprinkles of rain.
It’s grace…
that promises wonder who abides,
despite the tests of time, despite the dark’s cold quiet,
even through the doubts and confusion,
it’s more than merely a gentle illusion.
It’s grace…
that suspends in the breathless praise,
erases the echoes of a regrettable past,
decides when to listen to the bird’s lonely cries,
dreams of special days before life passes on by.
It’s grace…
that trembles beneath the snowflake’s silence,
remembers to hesitate in the twilight’s kindness,
washes the memory in joy so inviting,
captures the fragile feelings with spirit’s sigh.
It’s grace…
that destroys the fear who tries to mute hope’s satisfaction,
designs the passion, a hunger for God’s blessed plan to work,
reassures the heart that all its exertions will be worth it,
inspires the spirit to believe, even through doubtful stretches.
It’s grace…
that abides inside those who hear love stirring,
embracing the yearnings with feelings so tender,
whispers to the soul – keep believing, keep giving,
never forget that, whatever comes, He will strengthen!
It’s grace…
that decides what to do when silhouettes of worry reflect our sin,
inviting the winds of a spirit who abides in the rhythms of serenity,
dreaming of the colors washing the life in sincere exhilaration,
pouring out dewlike kisses on a garden of the imagination.
It’s grace…
that mingles with love to establish sweetest praise within,
where God is living so that we’re generous with grace ourselves,
while we sing in prayers that result in praise that will never end,
collecting the promises that abide inside those who will ascend.
It’s grace…
that leaves the soul filled with a music that heals and relieves,
quieting the fears and reassuring the soul that it is His,
when time comes to an end, we’ll face the One who means everything,
and discover that, with Him, there is more love than we can conceive.
It’s grace…
that descends on the believer, the one who sees Him in every hope,
throughout life, there is only one answer who holds the victory,
it is Him who abides inside the heart who is triumphant…
with His love, His grace secures our souls – so we’ll soon see Him,
the supreme eternal One, the light, the love that ever abides…
it is grace… that determines our fate and it is grace that writes the way…
through this present darkness, into the light of everlasting love and praise!
