It Happened On A Misty Morning - Collaboration Poetry Contest, Sponsor - Charles Messina. Date: 10/02/2023

Wettened by the morning's dew Closely spaced where rows of roses grew Footprints stained the cobblestone Where my love and I had walked, alone. Bright, promising future, at our disposal. When secured with a marriage proposal, Bells of sheer contentment rang aloud Beneath the dawn's slow-turning cloud.
