Is For the Way You Look At Me

I think I have found love
It's owner I will name a thousand times
And file it under an unmarked cabinet
That was previously filled but now flows empty except for you
In tht singular files lists all my hearts joys and simplicities
What have I done to speak to such beauty

It is you that makes my heart skip inside my chest
Quietly to the world
Loudly to you

Deep in my mind
You rest on that line of steel
Inside that cabinet
Holding me together

After a very super weekend I am back at the soup reading. I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Aislinn. There are so many diverse writers here and I am so happy I am able to read most of them. Have a wonderful week and may you find what you are looking for in life and in your writing. Love, Carol
