Irresistible

“… Choose you this day whom ye will serve; … but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15 of the King James Bible

Irresistible choice…
     Yet disturbing my poise
          With painful guilty noise---
               Bye… I want to rejoice!

Irresistible claim…
     Offering fortune’s fame
          As well as friendship’s flame---
Please free me from sin’s game!

Irresistible chance…
     Midst stardom’s elegance
          Clothed with great arrogance---
               Now, I follow God’s stance!

Irresistible call…
     Toward heavenly hall
          Smiting eternal fall---
Yes, Lord, to serve I shall!
